No, this is not a bakery; it is a very cool art gallery and studio where 20 local artists work and display their work. Managed by the Creative Clay Cultural Arts Center, the Cake Walk Artist Co-Op gives the public an opportunity to see the artists at work in their studios creating the pieces that will ultimately be on display and for sale. The gallery is well-designed with plenty of light to see the artwork on display. The artists' studios open off a main hallway and you can stop in each studio to view the artist's work in an intimate setting. Each month the Co-Op participates in St. Petersburg's Second Saturday gallery walk and it sponsors other events throughout the year. If you have an interest in the arts, this is a great place to visit and browse. The studios are bright and colorful with lots of interesting artwork displayed throughout.
