History
The American Legion, our country's largest Veteran's organization, enjoys a legendary reputation for charitable endeavors. Post 271 in Tequesta, Florida, is one of the largest Post in South Florida with over 1000 Legion Family members and it is active in supporting veterans, children and youth, civic and educational activities. We are Veterans helping Veterans, especially Veterans-in-need. We have provided scholarships to deserving local students. We have recognized the courageous contributions of our four local Police and Fire Departments. Sponsored enrollments in
