Adena Springs Farm is a horse farm that began operation in 1996 with the purchase of the 453-acre Lin-Drake Farm, just north of Ocala, Fla. New construction at Adena Springs was initiated immediately. Improvements included three new 36-stall barns to house its yearlings and freshen older horses. The addition of a 7/8 mile-training track and a 6-furlong turf course completed the renovations. In 1997, an additional 553 acres were purchased on nearby State Highway 318. This parcel serves as home to its six regional stallions, which include A Breeders' Cup-winning Eclipse champion; A U.S. Classic winner; Florida's number two Sophomore Sire of 2005; the fastest Mr. Prospector stallion in Florida; and the only A.P. Indy out of a U.S. champion mare in Florida. Later improvements included the addition of a state-of-the-art stallion complex and four 20-stall barns.
