Trinidad Playground, located in Washington, DC, is a part of the Play DC comprehensive Parks and Recreation 10-15 year Master Plan for the District of Columbia. The playground underwent renovations to enhance its resources and provide a space for Washingtonians to Move, Grow, and Be Green. The project included the installation of new playgrounds, rain gardens, landscaping, and an ADA ramp.
Managed by the Department of General Services (DGS), the Trinidad Playground project was completed in November 2014. The renovation was designed to meet the needs of the community and reflect its individuality and uniqueness. District residents were encouraged to participate in community meetings to ensure the play space met their requirements.
