Since its inception in 1887, Thompson-Markward Hall (TMH), has been a safe haven to thousands of young women and has had a significant impact on the lives of many from across the United States and around the world. As TMH celebrates the 127th anniversary of its Congressional charter, the founder's mission remains resolute: to provide hope, strength, and safety to young women seeking housing in the Nation's Capital.
