Founded in 1991, the Perry School Community Services Center is a nonprofit organization that provides services for youth development, economic empowerment and social assistance. The center offers a range of services to develop and educate youths between the ages of 3 and 18. It administers the Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY) program. The Perry School Community Services Center offers services related to crises the issues of parenting and chronic problems, as well as provides assistance for emergency situations and housing and day care options. The center addresses issues related to domestic violence and child abuse and neglect. It is funded by several government agencies, businesses, individuals, and religious and community organizations. The center maintains a location in Washington, D.C.
