We are a comprehensive physical therapy service facility that provides therapeutic services to restore full physical function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities to people who suffer from injuries or painful diseases.
Therapy Services
HHPT currently provides pre- and post-operative treatment for orthopedic related disorders, sports injuries, preventive care, rehabilitation of injured workers and neurological injuries referred by physicians, case managers and the District's network of health care providers.
Marva A. Marsh - Clinical Director & PT
HHPT is wholly owned and operated by Clinical Director Marva A. Marsh, Registered Physical Therapist [R.P.T.] in the states of Maryland (Lic. 16313), Virginia (Lic. 2305003875), and the District of Columbia (Lic. PT1076). Ms. Marsh is a 1985 graduate of Howard University's College of Pharmacy, Nursing and Allied Health, Division of Allied Health Sciences, Department of Physical Therapy; and a 1977 graduate of Central Michigan University School of Education. She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and has advanced certifications in Trigger Point/Myofacial Pain Therapy, from the Janet Travell, MD Series; Certified Functional Capacity Evaluator and Work Hardening Clinician from Roy Matheson and Associates; Certified Back School Physical Therapist from Duane Saunders Group; and Certified Prosthetic and Orthotic Physical Therapist from Northwestern University. With over 20 years of professional experience as both a managing Physical Therapist and specialty support positions in orthopedic and clinical settings, Ms Marsh is a proven leader and highly experienced professional providing a broad range of services to her clients. She is also a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and active member of the District of Columbia chapter.
