History

Dojo Comedy started as a production and arts education company, renting spaces for performances and classes. In May 2015, Dojo opened doors at 3503 Georgia Avenue NW as the first brick and mortar location in DC dedicated to improv and sketch.

Specialties

Dojo Comedy is DC's first space dedicated solely to improv and sketch comedy. We have regular weekly performances and offer classes in game-based comedic longform improvisation and joke-heavy game-focused sketch writing.

A welcome addition to the comedy scene. The space is intimate and unpolished. A perfect little spot for the performers. If you are not getting your fix of some fun stuff, put them in the rotation.
