The East of the River Clergy Police Community Partnership (ERCPCP) is a faith-based community development corporation in Washington, DC. Founded in 1999, ERCPCP aims to heal, restore, and transform communities east of the Anacostia River through community-based and school-based re-entry-focused programs.
With a strong history of collaboration between clergy, individuals, and the community, ERCPCP has successfully implemented evidence-based practices to empower and enrich the lives of youth, young adults, and families. Their programs, such as the Violence Intervention Program (VIP) and the Citywide Coordinating Council for Youth Violence Prevention (CCYVP), have made significant strides in reducing violence and steering young people towards a productive and self-sufficient lifestyle. Additionally, ERCPCP is committed to providing assistance during the COVID-19 pandemic through their PPE program, which aims to protect, provide, and educate the Ward 7 community.
