The Center for Studying Health System Change is a nonpartisan policy research organization in Washington, D.C. The center designs and conducts studies focused on the United States health care system to inform the thinking and decisions of policy makers in government and private industry. In addition to its applied use, the Center for Studying Health System Change s studies contribute more to the body of health care policy research that enables decision makers to understand change and the national and local market forces driving that change. The company uses numerous venues to disseminate its research results with the goal of informing public debate on a variety of health care issues. Its some publications provide brief, descriptive research findings, while others are more in-depth and analytic. The Center for Studying Health System Change has a staff of sociologists, economists, public policy experts and physicians.
