The American Association for Clinical Chemistry is an international scientific and medical society for clinical laboratory professionals, physicians, research scientists and other individuals involved with clinical chemistry and other clinical laboratory science-related disciplines. The association provides education and networking opportunities to its members through various divisions, including animal clinical chemistry, clinical and diagnostic immunology, critical and point of care testing, lipoproteins and vascular diseases, management sciences, nutrition, proteomics and molecular pathology. AACC also organizes conferences and seminars, and is the leading publisher of expert and timely scientific texts related to the clinical laboratory field. The Van Slyke Foundation is AACC s philanthropic program that encourages and support deserving clinical laboratory scientists and students throughout the world. The association has headquarters in Washington, D.C.
