Established in 1802 and located in Wilmington, Del., Hagley Museum and Library is a nonprofit educational institution. It collects, preserves, and interprets artifacts from the history of American enterprises. The museum houses various collections of manuscripts, photographs, books and pamphlets of American business and technology markets. Hagley's Center for the History of Business, Technology and Society offers fellowship programs for both graduate and postgraduate research works and sponsors conferences, lectures and monthly seminars. It provides interlibrary loans, online search facilities through a research libraries information network and photocopy. The museum also publishes brochures for scholars in using research collections. It also helps in planning corporate meeting, events and social functions. The museum offers various volunteer opportunities for adults and youth. It additionally offers summer camps for teens.
