It is safe for use around kids and pets. The best thing is, the carpets are not soaked through. We have done area rugs on hard wood floors with no soak through. This is the best method as it does not impact the integrity of the carpet backing. We also have an exclusive nap fluffing process that will groom the fibers of the carpet and make it feel soft and fluffy.
