The Section of Pediatric Cardiology provides medical and health care services. It offers cardiovascular care and serves patients throughout the northeastern United States. The section includes a laboratory that performs diagnostic and interventional catheterization procedures for children and adults with congenital heart diseases. The Section of Pediatric Cardiology specializes in transcatheter device placement solutions and provides nonsurgical treatment for aortic and pulmonary valve stenosis. In addition, it offers pediatric echocardiographical services that include maternal and perinatal medicine. The Section of Pediatric Cardiology performs more than 3,400 studies annually in various approaches and administers an adult congenital heart program. It is a part of the Yale University School of Medicine.
