History
The Wolff family history in insurance and financial planning began on April 1, 1954, when Thomas J. Wolff, a graduate in economics from the University of Connecticut, was licensed to sell insurance. By 1967 the Agency, now named Wolff-Zackin due to the addition in 1963 of Arnold Zackin, CPCU, had moved to the brand new Vernon Professional Building near the old Vernon Circle (now Tri-City Plaza). Wolff-Zackin was one of the largest and fastest-growing independent multi-line insurance organizations in CT, having achieved an amazing 500% increase in business in the prior six years.
