Windsock Inn has served many purposes since 1928. It was once the home of the Airport Manager. During WWII, it was used as the ready room for Corsair test pilots. In 1959, it got its liquor license and has since been a bar and restaurant.
Under the current ownership since 1976, Windsock Inn has been the place for local residents and workers to enjoy lunch or unwind from a long day. The food is simple: burgers, hot dogs, chili and the Daily Special. There is a huge wraparound bar and nine tables where you can gather with friends and enjoy a drink and homemade meal. There is also a pool table and a jukebox.
