Founded in 1953, Windham County 4-H Outdoor Center is a nonprofit organization that organizes fundraising programs. The organization provides construction services for lodge areas, cabins and laboratories. It also organizes summer camps and environmental educational activities. Windham County 4-H Outdoor Center conducts camp events and overnight sessions for boys and girls up to the age of 9. Its leadership program offers training sessions for children in grades 9 through 11. The organization also conducts day camps for children up to the age of 15 and serves lunch and dinner. Windham County 4-H Outdoor Center s camp is a more than 250-acre area that features woodlands and ponds.
