This sport is a combination of basketball, lacrosse and bumper cars. Owned by Michael Lenares, the South Windsor facility is one of 22 across the U.S. and Canada. It features a 4,000-foot electrified floor and about a dozen numbered bumper cars called Whirlybugs. There is a referee booth overlooking the two-story playing area, which includes a scoreboard and back-board like goals at either end. Players (often corporate groups) zoom around flinging a Whiffle ball from hand-held rackets. Catered food is available in the lounge, which also includes a pool table, booths and arcade games.
