HistoryThe Winsted Farmers Market was established in 2011 to bring fresh, local food to Winchester, Connecticut and the surrounding towns.SpecialtiesThe Winsted Farmers Market will run on Friday evenings from 4 to 7pm through July and August. Vendors will be offering fruit, vegetables, flowers, meats, and baked goods. We'll also have recipes and information on healthy eating and preparing what you buy at the market. We also plan to feature various local artists, artisans, and craftspeople who will offer their work for sale. Finally, our community table will allow local non-profit groups the opportunity to get the word out about their work in the area.
