The First Congregational Church of Ridgefield was founded in 1712. The first meeting house was erected in 1732, and since that time, the church has built two other structures for worship, including its present-day location built in 1888 that features a prominent bell tower and a 100-year-old pipe organ. In addition to weekly services, the church offers a number of activities including youth and adult choirs, social clubs, holiday fairs, concerts and community outreach programs.
