History
Since 2009, we've prided ourselves on being the most exciting cooking school in New Haven and beyond. We have since grown and expanded to specialize in both our regularly scheduled classes and many team building events and private parties, and in 2012 Heide began appearing regularly on TV in an effort to spread the gospel of good food to CT and beyond!
Specialties
People always ask us what cuisine we specialize in, and the possibilities go beyond your wildest dreams! Heide's training may be in French cuisine, but her Persian Fesenjan, her Penne with Saffron and Pancetta and her Southern Fried Chicken are better than anybody else's. So I guess you could say we kind of rock at everything... it's not bragging if it's true, right? If there's a cuisine we aren't offering yet, let us know you're interested and we will work hard to add it to our range! Beyond our international-themed classes, we teach everything from pancakes to Christmas cookies. We especially love teaching our Farmer's Market series, which highlights seasonal fruits and vegetables from around the state. No matter what we are cooking though, we specialize in hands-on teaching in a fun, social and (above all) educational environment. This is a pretty unique combination, and we firmly believe all these qualities are essential to helping our students become great cooks.
