Sticks and Stones Farm is a local 60-acre moss and stone farm, one of few in the country, according to the owners. It's an organic farm that propagates moss and stones as well as an idea of health and wellness in the community.
It offers land for visitors to walk through as well as space and time for community events that promote drug-free, smoke-free and alcohol-free living. The farm also cultivates a moss labyrinth that people have a chance to walk through. Not only locals see the farm, but international visitors come to the farm to learn the techniques of raising organic crops through the Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms organization.
Sticks and Stones also hosts a variety of classes throughout the year, including children's workshops.
