History
In 1987, our founder, Donna Lombardi, first opened the doors to Steppin' Out. Miss Donna was a former Rockette, and an instructor at Betsy Ross Arts Magnet School in New Haven. Miss Donna was committed to providing her students with a complete and technical dance education. Believing in the art of dance, Steppin' Out was founded as a non-competitive studio focused on our annual dance performance. Our staff remains dedicated to continuing Miss Donna's legacy of not only teaching the steps, but teaching a love for dance. As a technique centered studio, we strive to ensure challenging classes, along with exciting choreography that sets our studio apart from the rest.
