The Stamford Animal Care & Control Shelter provides a home for neglected and abused animals, as well as spay, neutering and adoption services. The facility can be found on Magee Avenue between Jefferson Street and Shippan Avenue in Stamford's Harbour Point area. The highly successful shelter has remained a no-kill facility under the guidance of director, Laurie Hollywood and has maintained the highest adoption rate of all similar shelters in the state of Connecticut.
