St. Paul's Episcopal Church is Shelton's oldest church. With its roots dating way back to 1740, this parish has grown in size over the years to now boasting a congregation of 650 members. Rev. Janet Waggnoner welcomes people to worship at 8am and 10am on Sundays at this majestic church, located across from the Huntington Green. The church's mission, according to its comprehensive and informative website, is "to bring people into an even deeper relationship with God and with one another." The church hosts annual holiday pageants and events, collects items for the Valley's homeless and does so much for the community. Vacation Bible school and various youth programs are also offered here.
