History
This Napa Valley inspired venue at 90 Welles Road in Mystic,CT was purchased in late 2014. Sitting on this property was a classic farmhouse built in 1790. Although the building itself was beyond repair, it contained the magic to creating our charming, new, distinctive clubhouse. The house was carefully dismantled, enabling us to salvage the original stonework, flooring, posts and beams for re-purposing in our building. Through our research, we came to discover and appreciate the methods used in construction by the settlers, which has been incorporated throughout the clubhouse. Looking closely, you may notice the roman numerals etched into the re-purposed floorboards and beams, one of the many distinct building methods of that era.
