Roger Sherman Baldwin Park is a real treasure for Greenwich residents. The waterfront park boasts some of the best views of Greenwich Harbor and Long Island Sound, making it a favorite for area landscape photographers. The 6.3-acre park is largely green space. Weeping willows provide shade for picnickers and concertgoers during the summer months.
Also located in the park is the Ferry Terminal, where tickets are sold in summer for rides to Island Beach and Great Captain's Island.
The park is named after Roger Sherman Baldwin, a town leader who served the Board of Estimate and Taxation for 29 years and influenced the purchase of Greenwich Point.
