History
Founded in 1952 by Ralph E. and Janice A. Hull. Ralph was a Seymour native and his family came from Seymour and the Quaker Farms Section of Oxford, CT. Janice was born in Hartford, CT and was brought up in NJ. In 1984 their son Franklyn E. Hull CFSP and his wife Jane M. Hull CFSP acquired the funeral home and have dedicated their lives since to their ministry of helping people through some of the toughest days of their lives. Franklyn is a Past President of the Connecticut Funeral Directors Association, and is an Honor Graduate of the New England Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences, Boston, MA. They both are commited to community activities and doing volunteer work. Both are members of the Board of Directors of Trinity Cemetery Association where Frank serves as President and Jane as Secretary.CT. This year (2012) marks the firm's sixtieth year of service to the community, presently making the Hull Funeral Home the oldest continuous family owned funeral home in Seymour.

We are the area's largest funeral home. We pledge to serve as we would be served. We provide services for burial and cremation oriented families. We have before need planning including compliant State of CT Title 19/ Medicaid Irrevocable and Revocable Trusts. Additionally, we have a full service monument company- Hull Memorials, offering quality granite, marble and bronze memorials.
