Planters' Choice is a full-service wholesale nursery serving the Northeast founded in 1970 by Charles Newman. The Newtown property has a 15-acre sales yard offering a complete line of nursery stock. At this location, and at two others in Woodbury and Watertown, Planters' Choice has seven propagation greenhouses, 190 hoop houses in ornamental container production, five acres of perennial production and 90 acres of field-grown nursery stock.
