Nutmeg State Federal Credit Union was founded in 1936 on the basis of "Dividends in fellowship." Six branches later, the Nutmeg State Federal Credit Union (originally the Hartford Telephone Federal Credit Union) became a full-service banking and financial institution serving AT&T employees as well as more than 215 other employee groups. In addition to offering services and products such as mortgages, direct deposit, payroll deduction and financial planning, the credit union also offers a variety of convenient electronic or "e" services. These services include e-banking, e-statement, e-pay, e-loan, e-mortgage and e-HomeEquity.
