The Madison Public Schools Board of Education oversees the operation of the six Madison public schools and the town's preschool with the support of Madison Public Schools Central Office. The board is made up of nine members who serve four-year terms. The members are elected by the voters of Madison. Meetings are held twice a month, usually on the first and third Tuesday, at the Town Campus in the Hammonasset Room at Madison Town Offices. With the exception of executive sessions, all board meetings are open the public.
