HistoryIn the fall of 1979, Bill and Lauren Plage established Picture This, Inc., an art and picture framing gallery, in Madison, CT. During the next 10 years, they expanded their products and services, opened a location in Westport, CT and established a commercial division that catered to the needs of the corporate and design communities. By 1990, this rapidly growing commercial division needed additional space to service clients in the hospitality, healthcare and interiors sectors. Seizing an opportunity to expand into the Hartford area, in 1991 the Plages purchased Hartford Framing Company, with its large physical plant and long history of servicing both retail and corporate clients in Metro Hartford and beyond. Now, as Hartford Fine Art & Framing, the company has continued to be a respected member of the art and design community throughout the region and nationwide.SpecialtiesAt Hartford Fine Art and Framing Co., we pride ourselves in providing the highest quality products and services in the art business.
