Town Park Beach is Brookfield's only public water access to Candlewood Lake. The beach offers bathing hours with a lifeguard, boat launch (with pass), playground and bathroom and changing facilities. Visitors can also take advantage of the picnic tables, grills and concession stand. Parking and beach access require a resident pass, which can be purchased at the Department of Parks and Recreation. Those without a pass must be accompanied by a pass holder or provide proof of residency. The beach is located directly across from Cadigan Park (shared parking lot on Cadigan side), which offers fields for a wide variety of sports and a covered picnic table area.
