Established in 1969, Area Cooperative Educational Services is a regional educational service center for 25 school districts in south central Connecticut. Based in North Haven, Conn., the center focuses on improving public education through quality programs and services. It develops solutions to the needs of its member school districts and work with state officials and local educators. Area Cooperative Educational Services offers a range of services, such as vocational training for multichallenged adults, diagnosis of learning problems and create programs to overcome similar issues.
