The Hanko Ryu Martial Arts studio was opened 10 years ago by Shihan Danilo Torri in Stratford. Danilo, who lives in Trumbull, decided five years ago that the school should be here as well. A fifth degree Black Belt, Danilo says that the school "helps teach students the self confidence to become a well-rounded student."
