The mission of the Glenbrook Fire Department (also known as the New Hope Fire Company) is not only to provide the highest level of fire protection to Stamford's Glenbrook neighborhood, but also to encourage community involvement through fire safety education. Founded in 1917, the department is staffed by both volunteer and career firefighters.
