Giant Steps School, started in 1992, is one of a handful of revolutionary new schools across the country catering to the needs of children and young adults with Autism spectrum disorders and other developmental/neurological disorders. The school offers a variety of programs for children from the ages of 3-21. The curriculum is highly individualized for each student, but generally includes programs and therapies like communication, music therapy, physical therapy, and occupational therapy, as well as things like daily living and vocational training.
