Fairfield Auction has been selling antiques and fine art in Newtown since 2000. Owners Jack and Rosie DeStories both have extensive backgrounds in antiques and auctioning, and they offer free, no-obligation appraisal clinics every Tuesday from 10am to 1pm. The auction house is located on Main Street midway between I84 and the Merritt Parkway. Fairfield Auction posts its auctions on its website. Credit card payments are accepted in person, but phone bids must pay via wire transfer.
