Rich McFadden, owner of the Eclectic Chef, ships his very popular lobster and crab bisque to Florida customers who summer in Niantic, but can't last the winter without it.
The deli itself has a casual eclectic atmosphere in keeping with the name. In addition to the bisque you can find Boars Head meats and cheese, deli sandwiches, homemade soups, salads, grinders and fresh-made pies. Daily specials are e-mailed out to a list of over 200.
This is the ninth year of the Ecletic Chef and the third year in this location. Catering is available.
