Founded in 1982, Clasp Homes provides housing and opportunities for people with mental disabilities. Housing options include group homes, which are run and supervised 24 hours a day by professionals and feature organized social activities, and apartment living where one or two residents live independently, receiving assistance from staff only a few hours each evening. Apartments are run by an Apartment Co-ordinator, and supervisors accompany residents to doctors' appointments. Clasp also offers a Career and Community Options program, a pet program, recreational activities and trips.
