This Christian congregation welcomes everyone looking to grow in grace, care for others and pass faith onto one's children. The church is proud of its involvement in a wide range of local and worldwide organizations. Members serve as volunteers with Pivot Ministries, Meals-on-Wheels, Habitat for Humanity and six Midnight Run missions per year, which benefit the homeless of New York City. United Methodist Church of New Canaan also hosts the United Methodist Preschool, which welcomes all children ages 3 - 5 years. The church's doors are open to the community at large for groups including Alcoholics Anonymous, Music Together, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and various dance classes.
