BRB Architects Butler Rogers Baskett Architects, also doing business as BRB Architects, is a full-service architectural firm, offering a complete range of professional expertise across the disciplines of planning, architectural design, and interior design. Founded in 1979, our practice has developed a portfolio of diverse project types: educational, recreational, residential and religious facilities, as well as corporate and professional office interiors. We embrace a collaborative design process, grounded in careful consideration of context, sustainability and constructability. Our ability to respond to our clients' needs and aspirations, and our attention to detail at every stage in the process, ensures that our results are in harmony with the clients we serve. In each project, we aim to honor the institutions we find, while offering a compelling and enduring vision for a sustainable future. We promote quality construction and high-performing building systems which, though they may cost more initially, prove to be the prudent choice for the long term. Our studio structure lets us match the particular knowledge and experience of our staff with the unique requirements of the project. Dedicated teams see each project through from start to finish. Hands-on involvement by our three Partners - Tom Bishop, Bob Vuyosevich and Karen Boyd - coupled with the oversight of our Design and Managing Directors - Mark Maljanian and Doug Hassebroek - ensure the consistent high quality of our work. Our pre-design services - programming, planning, feasibility studies, and facility assessments - are helpful for those clients who are considering facility improvements but have not yet committed to a design project. We have completed campus and/or facility master plans for more than thirty of our educational clients. We collaborate with Wirtz International, a Belgian landscape architecture firm, on residential, institutional and commercial landscape projects in the United States. Wirtz International takes the lead in the design of the landscape projects, selecting and detailing the plant materials, while BRB builds the project team, details the "hardscape, " manages the client and contract relationships, and oversees project construction and maintenance.
