JC Music is "Connecticut's Music, Lesson & Band/Orchestra Rental Headquarters." Located along West Main Street, the shop sells a wide variety of music gear, instruments and accessories. It also specializes in guitar and electronic repairs, band and orchestra rentals, instruments, lessons and sales. With over 6,000 copies, JC Music has one of the state's largest selections of sheet music and books. All online rentals receive free delivery. Drum set orders are delivered and set up for the customer. On-site repairs on band and orchestra instruments and guitars is also available. JC Music offers a variety of music classes. With a student-base of 300 pupils per week and 24 instructors, the shop holds approximately 8 recitals a year at an off-site location.
