The local small business owner and primary instructor, Alisha Strayer, has been instructing fitness for over 13 years and has several fitness certifications. For the past six years Alisha has been specializing in Pilates and recently opened the studio to pursue her passion for it!
Specialties
The Pilates studio offers private, semi-private and group instruction for apparatus (reformer, trapeze, chair, ladder barrel & spine corrector) pilates, mat & barre pilates & conditioning (strength training etc.) both in-studio & virtually. Based on the methods of Joseph Pilates, Pilates includes a progressive series of exercises centered around efficient muscle recruitment, control and range of motion. Exercises are designed to target and recruit muscles both in isolation and full body/functional scenarios. Benefits include improving muscle strength, flexibility, control, coordination and balance.
