The Army National Guard facility in Naugatuck houses a recruiting office for the Connecticut Army National Guard as well as the 142nd Medical Company. The official who manages the National Guard facility is Sfc. John M. Polonio, RNCO, who can be reached at ext. 15 or via email.
The building was built in 1964, one year after the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. In the late president's honor, the Army National Guard facility in Naugatuck was dedicated to him by the members of the 102nd Infantry. The facility also provides a gymnasium and other National Guard offices.
