The New Canaan Community Foundation (NCCF) is the center for local philanthropy. Since 1977 NCCF has funded organizations and charities that serve New Canaan residents through the arts, health care, scholarships, senior services and more. The foundation also manages donor advised funds on behalf of local philanthropists. All of NCCF’s programs are mission driven. The Young Philanthropist Fund develops philanthropic understanding in our community’s future leaders. The Sapienza Scholarship Fund provides scholarship grants to New Canaan residents. The foundation's newest fund—Neighbors United—aims to continue the legacy of the United Way in the community following the dissolution of the local chapter. NCCF hosts an annual Philanthropy Luncheon offering attendees a new perspective on philanthropy. Whatever their motivation, NCCF helps all members of the New Canaan community give effectively.
