In 1996, East Hartford Aircraft Federal Credit Union changed its name to American Eagle Federal Credit Union. The credit union is federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration. It currently has 16 branches in Connecticut and one branch in Maine. The credit union s main location is in East Hartford, Conn.
