The Greater Waterbury Area Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is a dedicated organization that aims to bring community programs, fundraisers, and events to various areas in Connecticut, including the Greater Waterbury Area, Litchfield County, Naugatuck Valley, Southington, Bristol, Middlefield, Portland, and Middletown. Led by President Deirdra Mallory, the chapter focuses on increasing community partnerships, educating youths, and promoting social activism. Established in 2001, the Greater Waterbury Area Alumnae Chapter was formed by a group of 23 members from different local towns who wanted to effectively bring Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.'s public service programming to the greater Waterbury area.
