Although Abercrombie & Fitch is currently an upscale youth fashion retailer, it was originally a sporting goods store. Established in 1892 by David Abercrombie and Ezra Fitch, the company was eventually taken over by Mike Jeffries in 1988 who brought it to where it is today. The store offers apparel and accessories for men, women and children such as vintage polos, A&F jeans, rugged outerwear, handbags, leggings and preppy socks. The music in the store is always loud and enjoyable, and if you visit the website you can shop while listening to its playlists. Abercrombie & Fitch regularly donates to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
