Established in 1910, Yuma High School is an educational institution that serves more than 250 students in grades 9 through 12. Its educational curriculum includes reading, writing, music, language arts, math, English, science, social studies, history, geography, physical education, computer technology and foreign languages. The high school provides a range of sports activities, such as football, volleyball, baseball, basketball, soccer, cross-country, wrestling, golf, cheerleading, and track and field. It offers lunch menu that includes milk, fruit juices, cereals, muffins, chicken nuggets, bread sticks, tossed salad, French toast, mashed potatoes, green beans and cheeseburgers. The high school maintains an art, chess, choir and yearbook clubs. It is a part of the Yuma School District-1, which governs several elementary, middle and high schools. Yuma High School is located in Yuma, Colo.
